The recipe was developed by acclaimed master blender and 7 Isles co-owner Jerry Edwards. Known for creating Mount Gay XO Rum, Edwards poured his expertise into this versatile expression that’s made with fruits and spices from 7 different Caribbean islands. These natural ingredients all come from various farms across the islands. About Rum
Rum history allegedly started in the Carribiens in the 17th century when they started to ferment and distill molasses, a byproduct of sugar production. Most of the Rum is aged in oak or ex-wine casks, giving its color and flavor.
