About El Bandido Yankee Blanco Tequila
El Bandido Yankee Blanco is what you get when you perfect each step of the tequila-making process. This high-end Blanco has everything you need for a good tequila. It is made from agave that is said to be one of the best in the world – the blue weber agave from the Los Altos region, grown in red volcanic clay at an elevation of 6.000 feet and more. The elevation gives agave more minerals, ensuring your tequila has the finest profile possible.
Overseeing the distillation process that is carried on in small copper pots, local master distiller Karina Rojo is making sure it is being distilled slowly, retaining as much flavor as possible. While the first distillation produces just a cloudy liquid ordinario, the second one gives us a fine, velvety Blanco in the purest expression of agave.
Finally, the tequila is hand-bottled with love and care. Staying true to its Mexican origins and traditions (even though it’s founded by two Yankee American NHL stars, James Robert Morris and Chis Chelios), this Blanco is all-natural, additive-free and 100% blue weber agave. This smooth spirit can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in your favorite cocktail.
